Season 43 Subscriptions!
We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our 43rd season, which promises to be a celebration of music, diversity, and unity as we continue to “build community through music.” We have carefully curated an exceptional lineup of concerts that will uplift your spirits, touch your hearts, and inspire you to embrace the transformative power of song.
To kick off the season, mark your calendars for our holiday concert, They’ll Hear You from the Stars, which will take place on December 8 & 9 at Westwood Lutheran Church. Traditional carol settings and new music that spoils your ears are at the center of this magical holiday concert. We’re also excited to bring back a matinee performance for this concert run!
For spring, TCGMC serves up fresh arrangements on the Ted Mann Concert Hall stage with God Save the Queens, covering LGBTQ+ British artists such as George Michael, Elton John, David Bowie, Queen, Dusty Springfield, Amy Winehouse, Calum Scott, and Sam Smith. This repertoire, traditionally presented in our June concert, is scheduled for March 22 & 23.
Read on to learn why this is!
Our June concert will take place on June 21 & 22 at the magnificent St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church; one of the most highly regarded choral performing venues in the Twin Cities. This is Me, combines choral music and dance to destigmatize topics surrounding body image. This concert is a powerhouse collaboration between TCGMC, the award-winning James Sewell Ballet, and See Change Treble Choir. Known for our major commissions during GALA festival years, our shuffling of concert theme is being adjusted as we host the upcoming quadrennial GALA Choral Festival in July 2024, which will bring 8,000 singers from all over the world into the Twin Cities! At the center of This is Me, we present our latest commission, Every BODY.
Season subscribers receive a 15% discount compared to regular-priced tickets. Subscribers can also add tickets to any concert in the series at this discounted rate. Additionally, only our season subscribers will have reserved seating for our concert at Ted Mann Concert Hall in March. Performances at Westwood Lutheran and St. Andrew’s are general admission for all.
