Walk With Me: A Virtual Pride Experience

Are you curious to find out what we have been up to while we haven’t been able to rehearse or perform in person? On Monday, June 29th at 6pm, the Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus will premier our first virtual concert, “Hand in Hand: A Virtual Pride Experience.” The broadcast will be hosted on the TCGMC YouTube channel and will also be available for archived viewing:
The virtual concert will include the world premier of a new composition “And the People Stayed Home” from TCGMC Artistic Director, Dr. Gerald Gurss. Working closely with writer Kitty O’Meara, who has been considered the poet laureate of the COVID-19 pandemic, Gurss penned the piece that was rehearsed, performed and recorded by TCGMC choir members from their homes.
Additional content includes testimonials from TCGMC members and supporters, as well as additional virtual choir performances and a poignant selection from last season’s “Unbreakable.”
There is no cost to watch the virtual performance, but donations are welcome and appreciated at TCGMCdonate.org to support TCGMC’s GiveOUT campaign which concludes on June 30.
