Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus
Yule Be Swingin’
Our Holiday Show
.
.
The joint will be jumpin’! Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus joins X-tet, the McNally Smith Jazz Band, as we celebrate the golden age of the big band era with the sounds of the season!
Think Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra with a dash of Mad Men as you enjoy jazzy riffs on Jingle Bells, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and Let It Snow along with a unique new interpretation of Winter Wonderland. You’ll discover new favorites like Boogie Woogie Santa Claus, I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas, Little Jack Frost and A Musicological Journey Through the Twelve Days of Christmas! Cool, baby!
“Among all the local choral concerts, this is the one that feels most like a holiday party, where clever arrangements of seasonal songs are flowing like egg nog!” Rob Hubbard – St. Paul Pioneer Press
Our community initiative partner for our holiday concert is the Aliveness Project. You can help support their holiday basket drive by donating gifts for the baskets. We are asking audience members to bring contributions and gifts with you to our performances.
