Re: Generations
If we don’t tell our stories, who will?
Join the men of the Chorus (ages 18-70!) for a musical journey through this thing called life. From innocence (Blame it on my Youth) to experience (When I’m 64?) and everything in between, this concert features the world premiere of Out of My Range (and Other Age-Related Performance Issues) by Michael Shaieb (Through a Glass, Darkly, The Kushner Trilogy). Rehearsals and social events leading up to their next concert serve as the backdrop for a whimsical, fun, and revealing look at the age dynamics at play inside a gay men’s chorus. This “backstage” song cycle pulls back the curtain on generational differences within a chorus – part Laugh-In, part A Chorus Line, and part Avenue Q, it will remind you that age is a state of mind and life does indeed get better. This world premiere event directed by Dr. Stan Hill is not to be missed!

OutLoud! Presents Forces of Nature
OutLoud! returns to the intimate Ritz Theater in Northeast Minneapolis to sing of the four elements as forces of nature: earth (I Feel the Earth Move), air (Dust in the Wind), fire (Great Balls of Fire), and water (Bridge Over Troubled Water). Under the direction of Bob Schlidt, this ensemble’s performances always include clever arrangements and creative staging.

They Sang to Me
You don’t want to miss the highlight of Pride weekend: Dr. Stan Hill’s final concert as the Artistic Director of Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus.
While this concert will highlight some of the top musical movements of the past twelve years (Not in Our Town, Never Ever from NakedMan, They Sang to Me), it will also look to the future featuring new music written for this concert. Join us as the Chorus sings a final “Bravo!” as we pass the conductor’s baton to our new Artistic Director. What will be the final number Stan will conduct? There’s only one way to find out – get your tickets today!
